Concedes the Race; Says He Will Congratulate Malloy

Tom Foley announced Monday that, after a weekend of analyzing reports of irregularities in last week's election, he has concluded there is "no doubt that Dan Malloy won the election." Foley said he will not contest the election results. He said he would call Malloy later in the day to congratulate him.
Meanwhile, Republican State Chairman Chris Healy said his office has asked both the Chief State's Attorney and the U.S. Attorney to investigate voting irregularities in Bridgeport.
