When the heat is brutal in Venice or Paris, people slip into a stone-cold church. When the heat is brutal in New England, you can slip into a climate controlled museum. There are a number of exhibitions around the state closing in mid-September. So, make like a fragile 19th century painting and hang out...in an air conditioned gallery.
