A client speaks with a volunteer at the South Central Agency on Aging

The Aging Network describes the collection of organizations, agencies and programs that promote the independence, dignity and safety of older Connecticut residents.  For example, The CHOICES Program (Connecticut’s program for Health insurance assistance, Outreach, Information and referral, Counseling, Eligibility Screening) helps people to negotiate the sometimes confusing choices related to Medicare coverage.

This segment from “Seniors:  Living a Quality Life” explains the interrelationships between these groups and profiles some of the individuals who use these services.
