Jan Royce Conant Part II
Dowsing
In Part II of this Two Part Series Jan Royce Conant, Equestrian and Artist, talks about her book Children of Light and how it came to her in a vision of light one evening. It's a story of creation and explains why we have a connection beyond our earthly one.
According to her book, billions of years ago, the ever-loving great light burst into an infinite number of sparks of light, which became its children. Later, the great light gave them the greatest gift possible: the gift of choice. Now some children choose to become Spirits, who come down to Earth and take on human form so that they can learn the important lessons that life has to teach them. Others, though, remain behind with the great light guardians, or angels, keeping watch over and giving help to the earthly spirits when asked for it. This is how the earthly spirits can fill their potential. It hints that spiritual help is there for the asking. It also shows how every person and thing is connected, because all beings, all people and all creatures, come from and will return to the same source, the great light.
As an annual speaker at the American Society of Dowsers conference in Lyndonville, VT, Ms. Conant also talks about the practice of Dowsing in the form of asking questions using a pendulum.
"It all has to do with energy and we all have the electromagnetic field which is indefinite and by using a tool that helps to amplify this energy through our own body system and we get in tune with it. It reacts to the question we ask of it" - Jan Royce Conant.
Her beliefs are from her heart and soul and her final words of wisdom in this story are inspiring.
At age 80, she currently resides at her farm in East Haddem, CT where she tirelessly shares her property with ten different species of animals and still manages to create wonderful works of art.
