Spring Film Festivals Return to CT

Join experienced film makers, up and coming artists and those who simply enjoy a good flick at one of the three film festivals being held in our fair state of Connecticut. All three festivals promise to entertain and inform.
Hartford Jewish Film Festival, Mandell JCC, Bloomfield CT
21 Films, 10 Days, 7 Countries
What makes a Jewish film, well, Jewish? It's a question for which the JCC has 21 star-studded answers, with an eclectic slate of first-run dramatic features, power-packed documentaries, biographies, musicals, comedies and shorts to amaze, inspire and entertain movie lovers.

The Connecticut Film Festival, Danbury CT
Sure to delight, educate and entertain.
This festival will feature more than 60 films, over a dozen film industry and new media workshops and panel, and, of course, fantastic parties. “Every film we’re showing is going to strike a nerve, summoning emotions that viewers may not have felt in years.” The CT Film Festival’s mission is to “take chances and create positive movie experiences, by bringing more meaningful movies to audiences that they would never have a chance to see, or feel.”
The CT Film Festival begins April 6th and runs through April 10th.

The Litchfield Hills Film Festival, New Milford CT
Same intimate festival, new home.
Formerly known as the Kent Film Festival, the Litchfield Hills Film Festival continues the tradition of celebrating independent film and the filmmakers that create them. Films will be shown in the Bank Street Theater located on the picturesque town green of New Milford as well as in venues within walking distance of the green. Festival activities include educational workshops by industry professionals.
The Litchfield Hills Film Festival begins April 7th and runs through April 10th.
