Poet Bob Jacob
In this short profile from “Seniors: Living a Quality Life,” Bob Jacob shares his thoughts on using poetry to help people struggling with cancer, HIV/AIDS, and the many other challenges of life. For the past six years he has regularly read poetry to the patients and their family members at The Connecticut Hospice in Branford, CT.
Jacob recently published a new book of poetry, "Perspectives,"which contains 62 poems from his experience as a Hospice volunteer. All proceeds from his book benefit the The Connecticut Hospice.

I never knew I could do poetry, until I found out I can do it. I gave a lot of things up, but that poetry, it keeps me going.
