SNOWVERDOSE!

One Groundhog Day, A Repeat of Winter Weather

By this time next year, a fair number of Connecticut people will have moved somewhere else and will be telling other people, "I couldn't take another winter there."  Parking lots have shrunk to one third their normal size. Two-lane streets are one-lane streets. Roofs are groaning. And watch out! Ice missiles!

And there's more bad weather to come.

Every driveway is a blind approach.

People have been cut off from their own houses and cut off from help.

Nerves are getting frayed.

Thursday's Colin McEnroe Show will attempt to collect the best and worst stories of the Snowverdose, a term we made up at our staff meeting today.
