And so it begins. Occupy Hartford smells the coffee

A group of about 100 demonstrators and facilitators met Wednesday morning in Bushnel Park to begin planning  a Hartford version of the economic justice rallies popping up around the United States. Wednesday's meeting was a morass of process, with lengthy discussions of committees, objectives and even discussions of the style of discussion.  The group plans a second meeting at 5 p.m. Wednesday to further discuss its aims and strategies.

Time to make it count

Now is the time people. We all need to support this in whatever way we can. Hope the local union folks are making themselves visible. Been way to many attempts to union bust going on these last few and the "Occupy " movement is acting as the voice of us al. We're all taking a beating unemployed or employed. Got a job and been told
" you're lucck to be working " ? Well maybe and maybe they are just as lucky to have us working for them. NMBC mentions rights of the middle class. Our rights and the middle class both are quickly being erased.
Let's let the politicians and the Corps know we've had enough.

All the citizens should be

All the citizens should be doing the same at the same time in their State, maybe this way the Republicans will get the message. Along with protesting for the rights of middle class, we should all be demanding that every politicians should disclose if they signed PLEDGES (which we know most did) and they should be required to report how much money or kickbacks or services they were promised to destroy this beautiful country. This would allow the citizens to know whom and what they are voting for. The 2% aren't the ones that voted them in.
