Looks like if you have overdue -- the wrong kind of "outstanding" --  parking tickets in Hartford, this could be your chance. From the press release it sounds like you’ll be able to pay the ticket but not the related fees. Release is below.

HARTFORD ANNOUNCES PARKING TICKET

AMNESTY PROGRAM


—NEWS ADVISORY FOR FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 25—


4:00 p.m. — Mayor Segarra and the Hartford Parking Authority will announce a Parking Ticket Amnesty Program for the month of March.

The Mayor, HPA Chair Paddi LeShane and Chief Executive Officer of the HPA Mark McGovern will hold the news conference in the Function Room at City Hall, 550 Main Street in Downtown Hartford.


The goal of the program is to enhance revenue for the City while providing a one-time relief for those who have outstanding parking tickets.


At the news conference, details will be unveiled as to how much money could be collected and how motorists/vehicle operators can pay the principal on what is owed without paying the late fees and other penalties.
