Moosewood Restaurant is a collectively owned business with nineteen members who share responsibilities and participate in the various jobs necessary to run what has grown from a very small natural foods restaurant to a larger and more diversified company; in addition to writing cookbooks and running the restaurant, they offer prepared foods available in natural food stores and supermarkets nationwide.
