Doug Wilson is a designer, photographer and filmmaker. He is the proprietor of a private letterpress concern, The Scarlett Letter Press, he has taught typography at the university level, and with his trusty Polaroid camera, he has documented over 600 examples of vernacular typography. He is currently directing a feature-length documentary, Linotype: The Film, scheduled for release in Fall, 2011.
