Elizabeth Kneebone
Bio

Elizabeth Kneebone is a senior research associate at the Brookings Institution Metropolitan Policy Program.  Her work primarily focuses on urban and suburban poverty, metropolitan demographics, and tax policies that support low-income workers and communities.  Prior to joining Brookings, Elizabeth worked as a Research Project Manager for the Illinois Facilities Fund, where her research included assessments of the need for quality public schools in Chicago's neighborhoods and the need for subsidized early childhood care and education programs throughout Illinois' counties and major municipalities. She holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Chicago and a B.A. from Indiana University.
