Bio
Joy Mason RN,MSN, CMC is a masters prepared registered nurse in Hartford County, a nationally certified geriatric care manager and is currently the Director of Clinical Services atthe Felician Adult Day Care (FADC) which is part of the Felician sisters ministries located at the Our Lady of Angels Convent in Enfield, Connecticut. 860-745-2542.
Joy graduated from the Morse School of business Liscensed practical nursing program in 1987. She earned her bachelors of Science in nursing in 2004 from Saint Joseph College for women and her masters degree in public health nursing in 2009 from the University of Hartford. Joy is a member of Sigma Theta Tau (national honor society for nurses) and is currently the lead nurse planner for the Alzheimer Association educational conference in Connecticut. She is a local presenter and spokesperson for nursing care and Alzheimers Disease in Connecticut and has written several research papers encouraging seniors to live a healthy lifestyle for chronic disease prevention and care.
