Kenneth Gillingham
Bio

Kenneth Gillingham is an Assistant Professor of Environmental & Energy Economics at the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies.  His research has most recently focused on renewable energy and transportation markets.  In particular, he is interested in emerging energy technologies, the implications of new technologies for climate policy, and the consumer demand for gasoline.  Prior to his doctoral studies, he worked in Washington, DC at the White House Council of Economic Advisers, Resources for the Future, and Joint Global Change Research Institute.  He is the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship to New Zealand, a US EPA STAR Graduate Fellowship, and a Stanford School of Engineering Heitz Graduate Fellowship.  He holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University from the Management Science & Engineering and Economics Departments.  He also holds an M.S. from Stanford in Management Science and Engineering, an M.S. from Stanford in Statistics, and an A.B. with high honors from Dartmouth College in Economics and Environmental Earth Sciences.
