Colin McEnroe Show: "The Art of Robert Natkin: 1930 - 2010"

On Thursday's Colin McEnroe Show, we explored the life and work of Robert Natkin, who died last April.  The first retrospective of his work since his death is up in Salisbury now.  For obvious reasons, it's often difficult to talk about the fine arts on the radio, so we've put up this slide show to give you a sense of his art. Just a little something different we're trying in this age of multi-platform media.

We welcome your comments below or by email at Colin@wnpr.org.

fine art and the radio

I think fine art and radio talk shows work just fine! If the discussion is lively enough it can generate enough interest to get people out and about in their communities to see what local artists are doing. Or even simply drive people to look on the internet for more info about the local art scene in general.

yes, it's the White

Click on that second boldfaced link, and you'll get all the details.
And call in during the show and tell us why you like Natkin.

Natkin

We own a large Natkin oil and would like to know where in Salisbury his retrospective is being shown. Please let us know. Is it the White Gallery? Thanks.
