Colin McEnroe Show: Catching Up With Susan Bysiewicz

Even if you don't follow politics, you couldn't have missed the troubles of Susan Bysiewicz in 2010.

To a surprising degree, the story of those troubles is the story of the Internet.

The question of Bysiewicz's eligibility was first raised by a blogger named Ryan McKeen whose site,  A Connecticut Law Blog, was not on many radar screens on January 13th when all this started.

In fact, I'd be surprised if he had 100 readers a day in the days leading up to his now-famous post.

Another irony is that McKeen was and is a self-described Bysiewicz admirer. He wrote that he thought she'd be good at almost any office. But he looked at the statue and her biography and doubted that they matched up.

McKeen did what bloggers often do when they write something interesting. He sent the link to a bigger blog, in this case, CTNewsJunkie.

And then things got crazy. Susan Bysiewicz, in studio, today on our show.
