Colin McEnroe Show: Connecticut Videos Gone Viral
Remember Ted Williams, the man with the golden voice?
Come on, it was only a couple of months ago that a video camera caught a disheveled homeless man greeting motorists with the startlingly honeyed tones of a radio announcer. That YouTube video has over 11 million views. Williams was instantly organically famous and highly sought after by TV show bookers. And then came job offers.
And almost immediately, the fame was too much. Williams said he had been sober for years, but his good fortune drove him back to the bottle and the problems that went with it.
Dr. Phil jumped in -- of course -- for an intervention. He persuaded Williams to go to rehab. Williams persuaded himself to leave rehab.
As things stand, it's not possible to say whether becoming a YouTube celebrity, one of the biggest ever, is going to be a good thing for Williams. We'll meet some other YouTube stars today.

Half of these posts are from Reh Dogg.
As if the incorrect spelling, shocking lack of penmanship and recognisable phrases from the descripts to his ultra-lame "political" vids weren't a giveaway, half of the people cussing out McEnroe here, are in fact Reh Dogg posting under different names.
It seems as though a "self-made" artist like Reh Dogg has no clue as to why he might be unsuccessful - how is anyone in music press to take him seriously when his press releases look like they were written by a ten-year-old?
Hey man.............. Include
Hey man.............. Include Reh Dogg... I dont know if it's because your political views clash but that's no excuse Mr. Mac
How could you leave out why
How could you leave out why must I cry? Reh doggs song is one of the most talked about videos on youtube. and one of the best
Reh Dogg not on list
I thought five million views on youtube alone for the video "Why Must I Cry" by Reh Dogg constitutes a viral video? Obviously the people on his staff didn't do a good enough job of research.
Dude, Reh dogg's videos have
Dude, Reh dogg's videos have gone way more viral than any of these others, get with the program.
Unfair
Reh Dogg shoild be on this list for why must I cry
How dare you
You sir are a liar. To leave out Why must I cry from CT viral videos is one big lie.
Ted Williams????
I personally know Ted from my neighborhood. He used to stand at the freeway during certain hours when he knew traffic was heavy to get money for alcohol! Then he would walk up and down high street where I live right down the street and he would ask EVERY person he saw for something whether it was a cigg or a quarter, he was a straight beggar! And he got famous and blew it! He fooled everyone with his FAKE "golden" voice! I feel no pity for someone who does nothing for himself, gets famous for nothing and then throws it away! YOU SHOULVE USED REH DOGGS VIDEO "WHY MUST I CRY"
LOOOL
Reh Dogg's song "WHy Must I Cry" is an abomination. To he or she that said that his video is one of the most talked about on youtube....yeah f*ckin' right. That video has under 5 million views. I've found videos of cats doing dumb stuff for more than 20,000,000. There are probably hundreds of videos with more views than your miserable puke.
Good List but where is Reh Dogg?
Putting Desiree Bassett is a no-brainer on your list. The young woman is extremely talented and going places. Same could be said for the McLovins. They're a great talent as well. But when you talk about a video going viral, how could you exclude Reh Dogg? His video, "Why Must I Cry" has five million views. It has been parodied a multitude of times by various people all over the internet. Have any of the other videos been featured on the ultimate internet video show Tosh.O? Come one Colin , either your staff and you didn't do your research. Or you excluded the guy because of his political views.

Re:Colin McEnroe Show: Connecticut Videos Gone Viral
I think the video link tells the story perfectly. I felt a lot of bias went in to this segment. Why must I cry not on the list? Really?
Are you serious? You forgot the biggest hit "Why must I cry"
This is crazy "Reh Dogg's" Why must I cry was the biggest hit from Middletown Connecticut. How the hell did you leave that out? He made it on Comedy Central Tosh.O,BEt,MTV,and UK Channel 4. Is it because he's conservative and your show is liberal?
Future show featuring The McLovins would be fantastic!
I would love to see this happen down the road! :)

Here is my brother Joe's (he's the one in the red tights) video that he made with a friend during the presidential campaign for Sarah Palin. We are from Middletown, CT but the video was made in New York City. They have over 600,000 views right now and people actually thought they were Russian. If your guests search "Russians lover Sarah Palin" on youtube, this should return the first result.

Perhaps you could give the spelling of Chion's name to facilitate finding her video. Cyone? Kiown? Not a common name.
Love the show.
