Colin McEnroe Show: Driving On The Highway Of The Future

In the future, cars will be able to park themselves, maintain a constant distance from the car in front of them using radar, detect and avoid pedestrians, warn you if there's a car in your blind spot, read and decode road signs, set your speed to avoid hitting red lights, notice when you're leaving a lane and even activate a brake to pull you into your lane.

Actually, there are cars right now that do all those things and more. Most of that was a surprise to me because my car is a '99. I could enter the exotic and robotic future just by buying something new.

How long do we have to wait for the car that drives itself? We'll explore that far distant future today and tell you about what's in the near distance too. There's also immediate news about an electric car that will be rolled out in Connecticut.
