Colin McEnroe Show: Magazine
We chat with an author and a collector of famous people's hair.

Today's show is about two very different collectors, but there are ways in which the collections intersect.
Our first story concerns a stolen copy of the Bill of Rights, a copy which eventually made its way into the hands of two of the major figures in the unraveling of Gov. John G. Rowland. Wayne Pratt, an antiques dealer, and Bob Matthews, a developer, were the subject of lengthy evidence-gathering by the House select impeachment committee. Pratt eventually provided a very damning affidavit and Matthews took the fifth.
Before reading David Howard's book "Lost Rights," I had no real grasp of the other drama unraveling the fortunes of Matthews and Pratt at roughly the same time. You'll hear more about that today, and you'll meet a Connecticut man who collects famous hair, including some closely associated with the Bill of Rights.
