Colin McEnroe Show: The Music Of Sirena Huang
Berkshire Film Festival Broadway Vocals
Most of us will never know what it's like to be a prodigy and most prodigies will never know what it's like to be us.
By the time Connecticut violinist Sirena Huang was 8, she already had an international performing career. She was invited to the prestigious TED speakers conference in California where she not only enthralled the audience with her playing but gave an amazingly self-possessed and funny talk with between solos.
When we got involved with Sirena for our May 26 Hartt and Soul event, I began to realize what a special effect she has on people. Those who have heard her perform use words like "magical" and "unforgettable."
So you'll meet her today, at the ripe old age of 15.
Later Colin speaks with a Broadway performer about how our voices change as we age. And, a segment on the upcoming Berkshire Film Festival.
