Colin McEnroe Show: Tom Marsh Actually Talks About Issues

As you may know, there's a $3.4 billion deficit built into the current state budget. One candidate has really talked about what to do about. Here's Connecticut Mirror reporter Keith Phaneuf's summary:

"A higher tax burden, including higher rates for the rich and a modest new contribution from the poor, as well a repeal of some of the myriad tax credits and exemptions for special interests.
It also means continued downsizing of state government, and wage freezes at the state and municipal levels, while still preserving local control over the most important decisions. It requires a governor willing to use the bully pulpit as never before, exposing legislators, unions, special interest groups or any others trying to shield sacred fiscal cows to severe public scrutiny."

It has a certain ring of truth. Who said it? Tom Marsh. Never heard of him?  You'll meet him today.

Wow Tom Marsh.

I feel awful having voted for a candidate for governor that was not Mr. Marsh. I felt forced to vote for what I percieved as the lesser of two evils for the simple fact that the candidate I wanted to win had no chance. I didn't realize the independent party percentage implications. I have learned my lesson, next election I'm volunteering for Mr. Marsh's campaign (if he so chooses to run). Keep up the good work.
