Connecticut Attorney General Blumenthal Press Conference

Tuesday May 18th Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal organized a press conference at a West Hartford VFW Hall to respond to accusations that he had lied about his military service during the Vietnam War. Peter Galgano, a Marine Corps Veteran, and Jean Risley, chairperson of the Connecticut Vietnam Veterans Memorial, opened the conference by giving their support for Blumenthal. Blumenthal then gave his side of the story, and took "full responsibility" for his misstatements.
