CT Band, Columbia Fields, Tries To Make It Big

Out of the hundreds of thousands of bands out there hoping for their big break, only a handful get signed by a major record label. Even greater are the odds that one of these signed bands will score a hit song, and break into the music mainstream.

The Connecticut-based band indie rock band Columbia Fields is hoping two strong CD's and a large fan base will catapult them to a wider audience. And as WNPR's Ray Hardman reports, they have reason be hopeful.
