Faith Middleton Show: A.E. Hotchner Writes About His Friendship With Actor Paul Newman
Sharing life-long adventures from travels across the globe to personal loss

When actor Paul Newman was alive he refused to be honored or praised for raising so much money for charities through the family's Newman's Own food products.
Newman started Newman's Own with his lifelong friend, A.E. Hotchner.
Hotchner has written the perfect memoir about their 53 years as sidekicks and in so doing, he ends up explaining much about an actor and family man who guarded his privacy in Westport, Connecticut and had little patience for fools and fawning.
Hotchner first met Paul Newman in 1956, when Newman was beginning his career and assumed a role in Hotchner's first television play.
Hotchner has written biographies of Ernest Hemmingway, Doris Day and Sophia Loren.
