Faith Middleton Show: Confessions Of A Jewish Shiksa

Here's a show opening now in Florida and might end up here in a theater near you.

The multi character, one woman show is a called Confessions of a Jewish Shiksa - Dancing on Hitler's Grave.  The star is blonde-haired Frannie Sheridan,  who is of Orthodox Jewish heritage, but pretended, as a child, to be catholic.

Sheridan majored in theater in college, became a stand-up comedian in Vancouver, and is now touring with her show.

"FARRO"

Hi Faith, I enjoyed your show learning about Farro. I just picked up the issue (Oct/Nov 2010) of Fine Cooking Magazine. On page 90 they speak of Farro. Yes there is a difference with this grain. Apparently there is semi-pearled and pearled farro which cook faster than the whole grain Farro which takes longer. Yes you were right in saying that it can take 30 minutes to cook while the whole grain garro takes much loonger perhaps for reason for soaking it over night. Please feel free to check out the info in this magazine. I know over time listening to you on your show that you do enjoy reading this periodical. I want to try this because we like to explore different grains. Thank you so much for broading our foods in our home. I learn so much from your food shows as well as the other daily shows you have. Keep up the fantastic job. We all enjoy you in the radio listening world! Sincerely, Winnie Jackson

Confessions of a Jewish Shiksa

What a wonderful and inspiring story. I hope this play comes to Philadelphia.

Confessions of a Jewish Shiksa, starring Frannie Sheridan

What a heartwarming, compelling show! My husband and I have seen it several times and definitely plan to see it again. We were captivated by Ms. Sheridan's story, mesmerized by her vivid characters (all brilliantly portrayed by Frannie) and delighted by her wit and sincerity. Not just a comedy, and much more inspirational than a tragedy, Confessions of a Jewish Shiksa leaves you feeling refreshed, deeply touched and full of hope.
