I wish that someone could

I wish that someone could recommend a good sell used books store. I would love to buy new books, but at the moment my budget is quite limited and I don't have that much money to invest in entertainment. I hope that you understand me and maybe you can come up with a piece of advice. Thank you.

Homer

Homer is a very special cat. I laughed out loud through most of this heartwarming book. And I even shed a few tender tears. The book is hilarious and I found nothing preachy about it at all. I was on the edge of my seat while reading of her efforts to get back to the apartment after the World Trade Center tragedy, and this book made me consider the consequences of my actions more, so I donated all my old college books to a textbook buyback program. Homer surpasses everything. This blind cat can really see his way right into one's heart.

Hi, Linda!

The cat's name is Homer, and the book is called "Homer's Odyssey" by Gwen Cooper. Her website is here: http://www.gwencooper.com/index.php

David, Faith has The Book Show every Thursday, and if you search "Book show" on this website, you'll be able to listen to recent episodes, and maybe track down by date when you heard it! Otherwise, we don't have a specific list that I know of.

Thanks for checking in and listening!

You interviewed a lady who had a blind cat that could catch a fly in mid-flight. What was the name of the book?

List of books

On one of your rescent shows, there was a discussion of several lists of all time must reads. Do you have a link to the lists?

Thanks
