When Gabrielle Giffords and 19 others were shot by a gunman in Tuscon, Arizona 16 months ago, it set off a national conversation about guns, politics and the way words can perhaps prompt violent reactions. But for Kelly, a retired Navy pilot and space shuttle astronaut, it started a different sort of chapter - caring for a woman who was one day a Democratic congresswoman, and the next a victim of a traumatic gunshot wound to the head. Tonight, Kelly talks about her recovery and courage at Southern CT state university - and he’ll join us.
