Morning Edition: Hospital Cutting Childbirth Services

When public act 10-179 became state law on October first, it allowed hospitals in the state to add or eliminate healthcare services at well.  Rockville General Hospital has announced a plan to close its childbirth services, and that has Teresa C. Younger, executive director of Connecticut's Permanent Commission on the Status of Women concerned.
