Morning Edition: A New Way To Degrade Plastic?

A Group of Yale Undergraduates who participated in Yale's Rainforest expedition and Laboratory course have found an organism that can break down plastic, holding the promise of significantly reducing waste in the world's landfills. Their paper was published in the journal Applied and  Enviromental Microbiology.
