Where do we get our information? How do we validate its accuracy?
Today on The Nose, we'll be talking about the rise of master conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and about the Kennedy mini-series that was driven off the History Channel -- where, interestingly, Alex Jones has appeared.
We've been having some interesting discussions around here about one of Alex Jones's favorite topics, the notion that 9/11 happened in a manner very different from the commonly accepted scenario.
This is idea was originally circulated by elements of the American left but recently, led by Jones, elements of the right have joined in the chorus. The 9/11 "truther" movement seems to be very active around here and staged a major conference last weekend.
How do we decide whose ideas to trust? If we're in doubt, we look at their pedigree, their provenance.
