Between partisan politics, personal sacrifice, and countless other reasons, the stress of being a state legislator becomes exhausting. State Rep. Shawn Johnston (D-Thompson) and State Rep. William Hamzy (R-Plymouth) are both planning on retiring from state politics at the end of their current terms.
