Where We Live: Islamic Deradicalization

A conference this month in East Hartford brings together leading thinkers and writers – tackling the topics of violent extremism, the U.S. relationship with Pakistan and Pakistani Americans, and ways in which the Muslim community here is helping to weed out terrorism.

We’ll talk with Saud Anwar of the American Muslim Peace Initiative and Alejandro Beutel, Government Liaison at the Muslim Public Affairs Council - and with you. We’d like to hear from you – how do we deal with “radical” Islamist ideologies – while respecting the rights of Muslim Americans?
