Where We Live: Philosophy As Art

Wesleyan artist Jeffrey Schiff has a new exhibit, inspired by the writings of the American Philosophical Society -a group which included Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson and other early American luminaries.  It's called Double Vision: Transactions of the American Philosophical Society.

 

Double Vision will be on view in Wesleyan University’s Zilkha Gallery from Friday, January 21 through Sunday, February 27, 2011. The public is invited to attend the opening reception on Tuesday, January 25 from 5–7pm, with a gallery talk at 5:30pm. Gallery Hours: Tuesday–Sunday, noon–4pm.
