Where We Live: Previewing The Polls On Election Morning
It’s election day, 2010. Are you gonna get out to vote?
It’s election day, 2010. It’s gonna be a brisk, but bright and sunny day. Are you gonna get out to vote?
It’s what we’ve been waiting for since…well, I can’t remember when. I do remember that when Chris Dodd and Jodi Rell announced they were stepping down from their jobs it set off an unlikely series of events that has a former Senate candidate running neck-and-neck with a former Mayor for the Governor’s job.
And, it has a former wrestling executive running a close – and very expensive campaign for senate against a guy who’s been “next in line” for the better part of a decade.
Also at stake is the future of the House of Representatives in Washington, and that could come down to two tight races in Connecticut’s 4th and 5th districts.
Today, where we live, political analyst Bill Curry and Mark Pazniokas of the Connecticut Mirror join us to talk about what to expect – and we want to hear from you.
What’s driving you to the polls today? If you voted, how busy was your polling place? How do you feel about your chance to vote after months of negative ads and conflicting polls?
