Where We Live: Puberty

It's a time in our lives that most of us would like to forget - Puberty.

Today we'll talk about what exactly happens to our bodies during this awkward times, and how kids these days may be affected by environmental exposure, dietary differences or even their ethnicity.

There's also a new study that says girls are reaching puberty earlier and earlier.

As we've talked about on the show, young girls are dressing and acting older to mimic their precocious teen idols.  But with the recent study published by The Medical Center at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, it turns out a large percentage of girls aren't just acting older, they are actually getting older faster.

Today we talk to the lead author of the study, and a pediatrician and writer who argues that maybe these early puberty claims aren't entirely accurate.
