The impact of the Wikileaks release of US diplomatic cables has been enormous, it’s given us insight into the the way the US conducts its business around the world.  But clearly, it’s only a very small insight.  
 
Today on Where We Live, we want to know more about happens in the sneaky back-rooms of diplomacy.  How does it work?  What exactly does a diplomat do?  
 
We’ll talk to our foreign policy expert, Scott Bates, and a former diplomat, Jay Bruns.
