Where We Live: A Sensory Experience

Every day we rely on our senses to understand the world -  but how would life change if  we no longer could see or smell?

It’s a sensory experience today on the program as we explore touch, smell and sight.

Psychologists at Yale are studying just how much our sense of touch affects how we view the world.  You may not realize that the feeling of the chair you sit in, or the temperature of the drink in your hand – has an effect on your state of mind.

Today, we’ll explore this mind-body connection – as well as hear from a gardener who lost her sense of smell and a sculptor who can’t see.
