Where We Live: Small Business Breakfast - Young Entrepreneurs
We keep hearing that the job prospects for young workers aren't very good. So, what if they start their own businesses?
Today, we're live from the Oakdale Theater in Wallingford for the last Small Business Breakfast of the year. It's taking place as part of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce Business Expo.
We're going to focus today on young entrepreneurs. Young people making a go of it in a tough economy by starting things up themselves - in the tech sector, or in the rough world of retail.
We'll hear from successful entrepreneurs who can give them tips and hints - and hopefully we'll get ideas from small business people of all ages and experience levels to sharer their stories about getting kick-started in a recession.

Julia Superstar Sloan! Great opportunity to hear ideas from other small business owners trying to not only "make it" but be successful in an ever-changing market. So very glad we met!

Julia Sloan is an excellent choice to feature in this discussion. She is one of the brightest, most inspiring young people I've met - EVER.
