Where We Vote: Blumenthal And McMahon Roundtable Wrap-Up
A look at the first debate between the close contenders for Senate

Last night, Richard Blumenthal and Linda McMahon faced off in their first TV debate in their Senate race. So, any knockout punches? Any game-changers?
It’s hard to talk about this stuff without sports clichés. Because, in essence – big debates are like sporting events. Unlike an NFL Sunday, though, where there’s a clear winner and loser – and unlike a WWE wrestling match, where the outcome is pre-determined – a debate can be tricky to analyze. Think of it more like a soccer game – fought to a nil/nil tie.
Both candidates had a chance to take shots at one another, over job creation, personal fortune and federal bailouts. And both had a chance to evade questions from the panelists on the Fox Connecticut/Hartford Courant debate team.
Today on Where We Live, a wrap up of the first debate. Colin McEnroe was there, and gives us his analysis, and we’ll also be joined by Democratic analyst Bill Curry, and Republican Heath Fahle.
