Where We Vote: Dan Malloy With Three Weeks To Go
Dan Malloy has been running for Governor – pretty much non-stop – for about five years. In three weeks, he’ll see if his work has paid off.
The former Stamford mayor lost a primary battle for the Democratic nomination to New Haven mayor John Destefano in 2006, but he kept plowing ahead. This year, he won that Democratic contest against Ned Lamont, who’d led in polls until primary day – and he’s running against Republican Tom Foley and Independent candidate Tom Marsh.
His verbal exchanges with Foley have been sharp and even a bit nasty at times, and both candidates are running ads critical of one another. Today on Where We Live, we’ll continue our “Where We Vote” series, and give you a last chance to ask questions of Dan Malloy, Democratic nominee for Governor.
Next Tuesday, Dan Malloy and Tom Foley will debate at Fairfield University, in an event hosted by WNPR, CPTV and Channel 3. The moderators will be John Dankosky and Dennis House.
More information about that debate here.
